I hate it when people forget things in a roleplay.
I once joined a roleplay. I spent lots of time on my character, I liked him a lot.
When everyone joined, we were supposed to post intros. Four players did.
Two people hadn't, so we were left hanging. I eventually had to bug the last person, and she'd forgotten about the roleplay.
Then, we got started. Players were posting, but then this one girl dropped out, and everyone else seemed to forget. It quickly turned into something of a one-on-one between the threadmistress and I.
The thread died.
Now, a different situation: I always seem to get squeezed out of a roleplay.
I joined a gifted human/demon roleplay once. My character was the only gifted human, everyone else was half-demon. My character looked just like a human, a bit pale, but otherwise normal. The others had things like funky ears and tails.
A bit down the line, I'd been busy for a day, so I went back to the thread to check things out. My character hadn't been mentioned or talked to at all in that day, not even by the guy who was flirting with her.
Worse still, one of the characters said, "Okay, since (character that isn't mine) and (other character that isn't mine) are the most human-looking..."
I was angry. I'd been completely ignored and forgotten.
And once, in this other roleplay, I was busy so I posted for them to please not flood me.
When I got back, there weren't just a lot of new posts, there were a lot of new pages. I'd been completely skipped over.
This happens in almost every single roleplay I join.
Why does this happen? Why do I get left behind all the time? Why does my character slowly disappear? There have been times where I've left the roleplay without notifying anybody and nobody commented me or anything telling me that I'd been inactive without reason.
I would like to STAY in a roleplay, and not be completely ignored as time goes on.
All that probably didn't make a lot of sense, but I'm not very happy right now, and not coherent.
