| Ten years.
Ten years had passed since the king of L'khoor murdered his wife, son, and daughter.
Eight years.
Eight years had passed since the king died of a mysterious ailment.
Seven years.
Seven years had passed since the people of L'knoor prayed to Freya, their goddess, to come and rule them on Earth.
Five years.
Five years have passed since the people's prayers were answered, and Freya descended to Earth to rule L'khoor.
Two years.
Two years have passed since the man claiming to be the late king's brother, Rae'lizu, threatens Freya with her life if she did not relinquish the throne.
And now.
Freya has chosen seven youths, four males, three females, to take Rae'lizu and his entire army down.
Before you start to believe that the goddess is insane, allow me to explain:
These seven youths are of a rare race called K'thraang. K'thraang have power over one of the seven elements, as well as the ability to 'bind' themselves to an animal associated with that element. As long as one lives, so does the other. One dies, the other goes down.
These seven K'thraang are capable of great things...so long as they survive Freya's rigorous training...
However, it seems this queen has begun...favor some over others...
With the tension and favoritism spreading through L'khoor's castle like wildfire, will the K'thraang end up killing each other before they can kill Rae'lizu?
.~*~.
Okay, there's the plot. I wanted to hurry up and post it, so that's why it's not very well-written. Off my back, little monkeys.
So, let me start off by posting some basic rules. Besides the rules you read when you first joined, there are just a few.
I. You may have up to two characters, but they must not be the same gender. Harsh, maybe. Reasonable, of course. II. The elements each K'thraang has is preset, but if you beg me enough and I'm in a good mood, I may consider letting you change genders for an element. Example: if you want to play a female K'thraang, but you want her to control fire, you can ask me, and if I don't happen to be in a foul mood, I may consider. III. You don't get to choose your animal companion. For each, I happen to have four animals that fit each element. When you join, tell me what element you want, and pick a number between one and four. From there, your character will get his or her animal companion. IV. No whining to me if all three females have been taken. Suck it up and deal with it. V. If I catch you doing anything that happens to be against these rules or the forum's rules, you'll be out of the roleplay quicker than you can say 'oops!' VI. I reserve the right to add, remove, or change any of these rules as I please. Why? Because I'm Origami. VII. This will most likely be placed in the Mature forum. Don't believe me? Click Freya's picture. VIII. The setting will be at L'khoor Castle, maybe mid-autumn?
.~*~.
Now that those are out of the way, let's move on to the elements. Some K'thraang are able to control more than one element (the K'thraang under Freya will only be able to start learning their second, but some can learn up to three), but if their secondary element is strong or weak against their primary element, they'll lose all control of their elemental abilities! Example: If someone's primary element is water, and their secondary is fire, all they'll be able to attack with is steam, since the water element chokes off the fire element.
Fire--A very powerful element that is extremely hard to control. Strong against earth and air, but weak against water. Water--A fairly weak element, but one that is easy to control. Strong against fire, but weak against earth and thunder. Earth--When in the right hands, this element is extremely powerful. Strong against water and thunder, but weak against fire and air. Air--Considered the weakest of all elements, but can be deadly if harnessed correctly. Strong against earth, but weak against fire and thunder. Thunder--Considered to be the most powerful element, but the hardest to control. Strong against water, but weak against earth. Light--One of the two enigmatic elements, along with its brother element darkness. Light is strong when up against darkness' shield, but when faced against darkness, Light cannot defend against it. Darkness--The other of the two enigmatic elements, along with its sister element light. Darkness is strong when up against light's defenses, but when faced against light, darkness cannot defend.
.~*~.
Understand? Good. So, now for the slots.
