| I thought I'd start us off here with this topic.
What music can you write to? And on the other side, what music can you not write to? Or do you even listen to music while writing/roleplaying?
I find it easy to write to relaxing music, or at least music that fits the mood I'm trying to portray. Piano is good all around.
I can't really write to any music with lyrics, unless the song fits the mood. Why? Because sometimes, I end up typing...
"Turning to face him, she butterflies are creeping through my spine..."
Not good.
I also can't write to any happy, dance-y songs. I don't know why. The words just won't come out.
Post your opinions!

| I can't write to music at all. I've tried, but I just can't concentrate and end up just getting frustrated. -_- Maybe it's because all my music is loud and has lyrics? I'm not sure, but it just doesn't work for me. |

| I find this music very easy to write to. It's based off a webcomic I read every now and then, and it's very piano-y with some prettiness.

| I've found out that I can hardly write if I don't have some music filling my head and pushing my brain juices along. But the music depends on what I'm writing for.
If I'm trying to write a reply to a shoujo-ai (Yes, I know...) roleplay, I usually turn to t.A.T.u, while if I'm trying to reply to a high-action medieval fantasy roleplay, my ears tune in to DragonForce, Nightwish, Within Temptation, or something of the like.
I also like listening to songs from OST's when I'm writing a reply to a fandom roleplay (Pokemon music for a Pokemon roleplay, Bleach music for a Bleach roleplay, etc.).
However, I've recently found out that the Okami soundtrack is good for just about any kind of roleplay. I'm trying a new kind of roleplay out? I just pull up my Okami soundtrack. Easy as that. |

Ooo, yes, very prettiness. xD I still probably wouldn't be able to write to it though, I lose concentration much to easily. |

| Oh, I usually write to music. And yes, I play music according to the mood I want for my posts. Sometimes I'm forced to listen to music I hate, just to play a hateful character! LOL. |
